The full-service industrial automation provider is on the move, showcasing its innovative process capabilities at multiple events across the UK.

Well known for innovation and open-engineering, Comau is helping companies all over the United Kingdom develop and implement process and technology solutions for sustainable automation and production. Now, one of the leading full-service industrial automation experts is taking part in multiple technology, trade and cultural events with a comprehensive offer ranging from stand-alone robotics to complete automation solutions, simultaneous engineering and powerful process integration capabilities.

The automation tour begins with Comau’s participation as a key technology partner at one of the UK’s biggest automotive manufacturers. During the in-house technology event, Comau UK will demonstrate its ability to engineer turn-key process solutions for new and existing high-volume production lines. Then, during Ferrari Racing Days (23-24 September, Silverstone), Comau will share in the excitement of Grand Prix racing together with its top clients, to celebrate 70 years of Ferrari in the UK at the world-famous Silverstone circuit. Also, present at the NEAA Expo (28 September, Stand 82 in Hall 3 at the Stadium of Light in Newcastle), Comau will focus on how its expertise in systems and process integration helps automotive manufacturers retrofit existing lines to accommodate new production needs.

Moving from Automotive to Agriculture, Comau UK and partner Agrimech will unveil a new packing application at the PPMA Exhibit (26-28 September, Stand A101 in Hall 5 at the NEC in Birmingham). At British Potato, the companies will introduce a revolutionary palletizing application (22-23 November, Stand 227 in Hall 2 at the Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate) featuring a unique gripper able to effectively manipulate up to 50kg bags of potatoes – or anything else in a bag – to ensure efficient, accurate and tight palletizing of perishable and non-perishable merchandise. This same application can also be used to automate delicate processes that traditionally require manual packaging.

Comau UK will also take part in the first-ever Robotics & Automation show, being held 11-12 October (Stand 410 at the Stadium MK) with advanced logistics solutions including the new IoT-ready Agile1500 Guided Vehicle. The new exhibition features the latest in robotics, automation and future technologies to help companies understand how to improve their efficiency while reducing costs and honing their competitive advantage.

With extensive experience in the industry and headquarters in Rugby, England, Comau UK has enabled companies of all sizes respond to evolving market needs since 1991. The company recently expanded to better meet the needs of the North-East region by opening a dedicated engineering facility in Gateshead. Its comprehensive offering includes engineering and enabling technologies that support highly individualized, highly efficient production while safeguarding productivity and profitability across the entire manufacturing line.
